Who collects and holds your information
Bowden Consultancy Ltd, trading as Bowden Environmental, at 92 Williams Street, Kaiapoi 7630, collects and holds personal information submitted through the bowden.co.nz website.
Information you provide
Using the contact form is voluntary. To submit it, you must provide your name, email address and a message so we can understand and respond to your enquiry. If you do not provide these details, you cannot submit the form. You can contact us by phone instead.
Your phone number, farm or organisation, and enquiry type are optional.
Please do not send sensitive personal information through the form unless it is necessary for us to understand your enquiry.
How we use it
We use the information you provide to:
- read and respond to your enquiry;
- work out whether and how Bowden Environmental can help;
- discuss or manage work you ask us to undertake;
- create and maintain records relating to your enquiry and any work that results from it; and
- protect the form from spam or misuse.
Netlify hosting and form processing
This website is hosted by Netlify. When you submit the contact form, Netlify processes and stores the submission so it can be delivered to Bowden Environmental. Netlify may also process technical information needed to provide and secure its service.
This site uses a country signal provided by Netlify, derived from your IP address, to decide whether Google Ads cookies and conversion events are enabled.
Who may receive your information
Your information may be received by Bowden Environmental team members responsible for handling enquiries and relevant client work. It may also be processed by service providers needed to host the website, process the form and deliver communications, including Netlify. Netlify may process information outside New Zealand. We may disclose information when required by law. We do not sell personal information.
How long we keep it
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry, decide whether we can assist, manage any work that results from it, and meet applicable legal or professional record-keeping obligations. When it is no longer required, we delete or securely dispose of it.
Google Ads and cookies
We use Google Ads conversion tracking to measure whether an advertisement leads to a contact-form submission or a click on a telephone link. Google may receive technical visit information, including the page address, browser details and IP address, even when advertising cookies are disabled, and may process it outside New Zealand. Advertising cookies and conversion events are enabled only for visitors identified as being in New Zealand. We do not use Google Analytics, enhanced conversions, remarketing or personalised advertising, or send Google enquiry contents or contact details. Access, correction and privacy questions
You may ask for access to personal information we hold about you or request that it be corrected. You may also ask us to delete information, although we may sometimes need to retain it for a lawful purpose.
